Thinking about rear wiper for Macan

Torn on the rear wiper. While I love the clean look without one, practicality matters too. My Taycan's wiper started scratching after just a few months, and I'm worried the Macan might be the same. Anyone have experience with similar treatments to make rain just bead up and roll off? Is a spotless rear window worth the potential wiper annoyance?

I just apply Rain-X water repellent on my windows and it really does the job. I don't even need to use my front wipers if I want to.

I also don't have rear wipers, that's why I decided to buy a water repellent. I hate looking at my car with a rear wiper.
