Porsche Macan EV and competition

Hi everyone.

I'm thinking about getting a Macan EV. I'm also looking at other electric SUVs like the Tesla Model Y, Cadillac Lyriq, and Polestar 3.

Any thoughts?

From a financial perspective, the Tesla Model Y and Polestar 3 tend to have lower upfront costs and potentially better resale value compared to the Macan EV and Lyriq. If you're prioritizing performance and luxury, the Macan EV is a strong option, but it may come at a higher price point. Consider total cost of ownership, including tax incentives and long-term depreciation.

I had the same dilemma before getting my Macan. The Q6 is super comfortable, but it just didn't do it for me. Then I test drove the Polestar 3. It's incredibly futuristic, but it's massive, and I'm concerned about Polestar's future with that new EU import tax. I wasn't a fan of the EQE's interior, and the iX's exterior just wasn't for me. In the end, the Macan was the best fit.

Tough choice! The Macan EV gives you Porsche flair, the Model Y’s tech-heavy, the Lyriq’s got that luxe, futuristic vibe, and the Polestar 3 is the cool, ahead-of-the-curve option. It’s all about whether you want speed, tech, or luxury. Good luck!
