I'm seeing some conflicting info on the electric Macan's range. Porsche throws around WLTP figures, but what about real-world driving? With a 95kWh battery, can we expect a decent range or are we constantly hunting for chargers? Anyone out there with some first-hand experience (or inside info?) on the Macan EV's consumption?

The range definitely seems unclear. Some reviewers claim it's 300+, while some claim it's 400+. I guess the best way is to try it ourselves soon.

How fast the battery drains depends on the features and mode you're using. Of course its good to have a good fast charger but with the latest update about NACS chargers being compatible with other EVs, i think its safe to say that we wont have any problems if we run out of juice in the middle of the road.

Real-world range is always so different from the WLTP numbers. With Porsche, I’d bet they’ve optimized the Macan EV for efficiency, but driving habits, weather, and terrain will make or break your experience. I’ve heard rumors it could match or even slightly exceed the Taycan in terms of range.

Everyone knows those official range numbers are usually too good to be true. The real range is what matters especially for a sporty EV like the Macan. With a 95kWh battery you'd expect a decent range but it really depends on how you drive the weather, and how much you use that fast EV acceleration. Based on early feedback expect around 250-300 miles for normal driving, possibly less if you drive hard or in cold weather. Porsche's made it pretty efficient, but it's still a performance SUV. City driving will give you better range but you'll need to plan for longer trips. We;ll get a more accurate idea once independent tests are available.
